The Technology
The Bio Ultimate Platinum Machine is a Microcurrent treatment. Microcurrent is a very low level of electricity that mirrors the
bodies own natural impulses. It mimics the electrical exchanges that take place in our nervous system. By placing the probes on the Golgi Tendon Organ (located at the junction between muscle and tendon) and using the probes to either shorten or lengthen the muscle we send a signal to the brain. The brain receives these messages and returns the same electrical impulses via the
nervous system, thereby holding the muscle in it’s new position. ATP (Adenosine Tri Phosphate - energy in the cell) is used up in muscle contraction and must be constantly replenished to
maintain the hold in our muscles. Microcurrent increases the
bodies production of ATP by 500%, ensuring that your muscles will hold in their new ‘lifted’ position. The stimulation of ATP also speeds up cell repair and renewal in both the skin and muscle thus, healing skin damage.
The Treatment
The Age Defying Facial which is the signature treatment of the Bio Ultimate Platinum Machine is an extremely thorough and
beneficial treatment in itself. In the treatment the skin is cleansed and exfoliated prior to the lifting and toning work that is done with the probes. Following the muscle work an Infusion Masque is used on the skin. This incredible masque is connected to the
machine and actually repels the products that are on the skin and pushes them into the deeper layers of skin tissue. You can feel the difference after this masque, it is incredible. This is a great one off treatment for a special occasion but with a course of
treatments you will achieve a permanent lift.
The Course
In order to achieve a permanent hold from this treatment it is
recommended for you to have a course of treatments. In most cases, a course of 10 would be taken over a 3 - 4 week period. The reason for this is that this will gradually build up the ATP in the muscles so that by the end of the 10 you will achieve a
permanent hold. The Bio Ultimate Platinum Facial would then
replace your regular facials every 3 - 6 weeks.
